Baker's Cafe

We have always had the best meals here and tonight was no different. We LOVED our meals. We had an awesome fillet, ribeye with wonderful marbling, and grilled chicken with tasty onions and peppers. Midge and Jeff do a wonderful job and Brenda is so awesome, giving us the best service ever.

We really enjoy Bakers! Husband got large strip and I got the pork chops. Both were very flavorful. The pork chops were a little smaller and thinner than previous visit. Was a tad drier as well, but still tasty. Would give 5 stars, but have gotten thinner/dry chops a couple of times. When they are on the thicker side…they are amazing! So would give 4.5 stars. The pies are amazing. Wait staff are all wonderful and friendly! We do try to go at least once a month.

Yummy!!! Delicious food, amazing service and awesome desserts. I've lived in Stark County my entire life and this was my first time here but definitely not my last. What a Delicious yummy steak and those homemade desserts are amazing!!!!

Went there for early Dinner on 12/31/22 …I haven’t been here since the 80’s when my Dad and Mom would take us there it was a nice dinner out for us when we was younger … it’s been 40years ! Very nice place all remodeled now ..I remember the old building and all … one thing I do remember is the large steak and if u was able to eat it all it was Free ! I never got to see anyone do it tho !The gal we had for a waitress tonight (12/31/22 ) was very good and very polite but I can’t remember her name ! She did say she was the owners daughter and her dad was the chef !Food was outstanding !!We will be back for sure !

This restaurant specializes in food you would eat for your last meal. Onion rings, gorgeous steaks, homemade pies. Wow. Place is spectacular, great service, and the owner Jeff is a great dancer!

Daughter an I had the pork chops, excellent! Son-in-law had the steak, said it was the best, he has had in a long time.

I was a skeptic based on the online pictures, being honest. Place looked very "old-person restaurant". I'm very glad I didn't let this stop me.Jonathan was very friendly and took very attentative care of my folks and I. My Ribeye was cooked at a perfect Medium Rare.They do not care about dressing up the presentation on their Steaks at all. They slap that sucker down on the table in a pool of butter, and it tastes amazing! If you're looking for nicer plating or that's something you care about, you won't find it here.The deviled eggs with candied bacon were surprisingly great. The filling was sweet and the bacon was a nice level of crunch.Hands down, the pie is the star of the show here. They have a multitude of options. I think the sour cherry pie with ice cream (which is only 6 1.50, it's a steal) is uncontested the best pie I've had in my life. What a treat.It's pricy, the inside isn't anything special. The presentation isn't anything special. The food carries the show here, and that's all I really care about at a place like this. Grateful for Jonathan and all the really kind staff.

A women's bowling league recently had their end of season banquet at Baker's. Although there were nearly 30 women, we received fantastic service and delicious food! It was my first visit but not the last!!
